The Inventors

Dr. Volodymyr Lietunov

Doctor of Engineering Sciences. As director of a scientific and technical centre he took part in the Chernobyl recovery efforts. From 1985–2010 he studied the effect of strong magnetic fields on the crack resistance of fusion-reactor materials at the National Academy of Sciences of Ukraine (ITER project). Project manager and author of the discovery.

Dr. Viktor Baryakhtar †

Doctor of Physical and Mathematical Sciences. Awarded the Pope John Paul II Medal for his role in the Chernobyl liquidation. President of the Ukrainian Physical Society (1991–94); First Vice President of the National Academy of Sciences of Ukraine (1994–98). Recipient of the Krylov, Bogolyubov, two USSR State Prizes and the State Prize of Ukraine. Co-author of the discovery.

Background

Project Development History

2010–2013 · Ukraine. Theoretical research into converting natural electromagnetic radiation into electric current, led by theoretical physicist Dr. Viktor Baryakhtar at the Ukrainian Academy of Sciences.

2013 · Lithuania. Experiments led by Dr. Volodymyr Lietunov; results patented. The patent passed international examination — WO2013114285A2.

2018–2019 · China. Experimental research demonstrated a new source of renewable energy — natural radiofrequency radiation.

Development was interrupted by the COVID-19 pandemic and the war in Ukraine.

Natural Radiofrequency Energy

Schumann resonance spherical waveguide
The space between the Earth's surface and the ionosphere — a spherical waveguide of natural radiofrequency radiation.

The space between the Earth's surface and the ionosphere is a spherical waveguide filled with natural and anthropogenic radiofrequency radiation — fed by solar radiation, lightning, upper-atmosphere discharges and desert storms.

We invented a method to convert the energy of a unit volume of this waveguide — an "energy cube" — into electric current: an untapped source of renewable energy.

Method

Energy Cube & the China Experiment

How it works

The device is a solenoid plus a converter of its high-frequency currents to direct current. Waveguide energy accumulates in the solenoid as self-induction, proportional to its volume and number of turns. Unlike a solar collector, it works in the dark.

Important Note

Electrical energy from the "energy cube" of Earth's natural radio emissions does not require long-distance transmission. An energy cube — from one cubic meter to one cubic kilometer — holds enough energy for street lighting, powering an orbital station, and smelting aluminum.

An aircraft whose structural volume is filled with hundreds of thousands of solenoids uses a collector of natural radiofrequency radiation to drive its electric motors — covering unlimited distance and staying airborne for a virtually unlimited time.
